Arnica

Arnica has been praised for centuries for its abilities to ease the pain and inflammation of sore muscles, bruises, and sprains. Arnica is the core ingredient in more than a hundred German herbal preparations. Originally the whole plant was used but nowadays only the flower is used in herbal preparations.  *Arnica should only be used externally – Only take arnica internally if it is a homeopathic preparation made or produced by a licensed homeopath.* 

Actions- anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibiotic, antitumoral


Ashwagandha

A plant native to India, and one of the most important herbs in ayurvedic medicine. Restorative, Regenerative and esteemed as high as Ginseng in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) This is an herb that is often used in regards Root Chakra imbalances.

Actions- Sedative, antispasmodic, anticonvulsant, nerve tonic, diuretic, astringent, nutritive, regenerative, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, cardioprotective, hypotensive, adaptogen, antioxidant, aphrodisiac, immunomodulatory, thyroid balancing. 


Bacopa

Native to India and other tropical regions Bacopa (Brahmi) derives its name from Brahman meaning ‘pure consciousness’ because of its ability to aid meditation, its a great herb for the Crown and Third Eye Charkas. The whole plant is often used. Its mainly used to help increase brain function, memory, concentration, ease anxiety and increase natural serotonin production.

Actions – Adaptogen, antidepressant, anxiolytic, diuretic, sedative, rejuvenative, antisposmodic, carminative, bronchial dilator, anti convulsant, immunostimulant, anti inflammatory, antispetic, antifungal, antioxidant, antiheumatic, diuretic.
